Served in HHT, 1/1st Cav in Vietnam in 1971; A Troop, 1/3d ACR 1973-1975; B Troop, 1/11th ACR 1975-1979; G Troop, 2/3d ACR 1979-1980; 3d Cavalry Museum 1980-1984; D Company, 1/3d ACR 1984-1985; 4-69 AR, 8th ID 1985-1988; 4th ID 1988-1992; retired in 1992. Worked in 3d Cavalry Museum 1996-2006 when I became the director. Moved with museum and the Regiment to Fort Hood in 2007. Married 43 years with one daughter who was born in Fulda. I plan to retire next year. The four years we served in Fulda were among the most best of my career. We loved the area and the duty was very rewarding and challenging.
