Hey tom - sounds like an exciting career - glad to see you hit retirement.  I see you stayed over there - I loved my time in FRG - I came back to Ft Knox and took over a Scout Plt then took over the Scout Commanders Certification Course, Came out on the 1SG list in 91 had F 5/12 Cav, C 5/12 Cav and C 1/16th Cav under LTC mark Hertling ( now the USAREUR CG), Left for Korea 94 with 22 yrs in - why you ask - MG Abrams old RCO asked me to come and be his Div 1SG - came back and retired in 96 - Went to Oklahoma Horseshoing School and had a very lucrative blacksmithin shoeing buisiness going in KY until 2004 - got hurt - started work with TSA and worked up to Security Manager.  Do a lot of riding - State Captain for Patriot Guard riders here in KY standing for our fallen soldiers at their funerals - ride a lot with my youngest grandson - Life is Grand - same goes for you if you hit the states - anytime - door is open my friend.  hey do remember CPT Pittard - he is now the CG 1st Armored Div - he was my daughters Bde CO in Baquba Iraq 2004-05.  He talekd to her once and recognized the last name - did not have anything good to say about me - Big surprise there LOL.
