Thank you Brother. Don't know why it took so long for me to join, but now that I have the time to do these things, I'm glad I'm here.

Hey Starling Yes I remember you and it's nice to see a few faces from the past. Your right I did leave as a Sgt. came back to the states and within too months they sent me right back for ReForger only this time I had to be on the other side. I would LOVE to see Fulda again. I have some pictures I will try and post them. I hope you are well.

Hi Cooper, it is 12;25 a.m. on Sunday morning (3/29/15), yes I remember you my friend, it was like yesterday that we were roommate in Fulda.  It was good to heard from you and view your photos.  I'm living  in Hamlet, North Carolina and is married with one daughter.  I was just in Las Vegas, Nevada this past December.  I really enjoyed the sites out there.  We are presently planning a trip to Germany to visit the sites in  Fulda. Friends always!!!

Thank you, I wish I had more photos and of better quality. Looking back at myself as a kid, I didn't really think much about those things then.  I found CavLand through the Blackhorse Association site. I guess you wuold say I am an unenroled life member. One of these day I may find my card from Fulda to prove it. I would like to visit OP Alpha again, I have looked at pictures and videos of how it is now. They still have that same roadway, I wonder if they bother to mop it any more. I will have to check on when my youngest daughter graduates from High School to see if there will be any conflicts.

Hello Starling, I was in 2nd Platoon, on SFC Mifflin's tank with SGT Moody. Then on D-23 with George Soli. I remember SSG Hughs. I remember him chewing my ass in Graff, when I was guarding the ammo pad, and I challenged him when he started to take ammo without checking with the ncoic. Good times.

Hi Starling, I was in Fulda, Delta Company from July 79 to July 82 and I would think we know that same people. I started in First Platoon with SSG Clark as my TC. I also had SSG David Butler, SSG George Soli, SFC Hunter, another SFC ? and then was on this damn SFC Bob Costello, if you know him he is a jerk. No good words for him. I was in First Platoon for 2 years 5 months. I was on D11 and then D14 when I was with the SFC's. Platoon leader was Lt Boylan and then Lt Grice. I ended my tour over there driving to Top Strange for my last 7 months. Company Commanders where, Captain Whittenberg, Smith, and then Jeffery Long. Well here is a quick history. Later Rick

Hey Starling, I started out in Second Platoon and my first TC was SSG Spiers, I came across this web page and checked out some of the pictures where I saw pictures Bob Huggins posted - talk about a blast from the past!! I tried to remember the guys back then but can only remember a few, time seams to have a way of getting in the way.  I ended up being the captains's driver (Whittenberg and then Smith) which took me out of the platoon, if I remember correctly Bob was Tops driver. Anyway I have to dig out some pictures and see who comes up. Have  a good one.
