Me since Fulda

well let's see..Delta Company, Tank Company (Yoda),Jeff Bailey, Pete Martindale, Steve Solomon, Tom Pooler, Curtis Ingram,John Walsmley,Deputy Dawg Evenson, Jewell, Evans, Klaus Hensley.. DAMN we produced more Master Gunners than anyone! I ended up going to the course after I left Fulda. Spent the last two of my tour in Bravo Troop, 1SG Doug Shoemaker,Cpt Walter "Bucky" Fulmer the third (BTW,met your nephew) Still looking to find my old drinking partner Don Schmidt SFC RET. Tell us a little about yourself:
I left Fulda at the same time as my Troop Commander Cpt Walter (Bucky) F. Ulmer III. I next served as an instructor with two of the New Equipment teams from Fort Knox, M1 Nett Doctrine and Tactical Training Instructor, and M1A1 Transition Team as Team Master Gunner. My next duty station was Schweinfurt, as A 2-37 Master Gunner. After 3 years I headed to Ft Riley, where I served as Master Gunner for B 4/37, and A 2/70. I retired 1997, and have since continued to work closely with the US Army as a Military Schools Instructor, as a Contractor repairing weapon systems and other Military equipment. My wife Carol and I have two grown children, Christina and Travis, several cats, a couple of horses, a pond full of fish, and lots of projects to keep us busy. Now I am running the Quality Control Program for a firm in Junction City Kansas.
