I've known Ernie since 1980 and he was a friend for life. A great Leader, NCO and he loved the Army. He will forever be missed. We shared some great times together at the reunion. This was a sad day to hear of his passing.R.I.P my friend.

Retired (1SG/E8) 23YRS. Serviced with the BLACKHORSE twice with the same unit, I -TPR.3/11 ACR. From 80/82, 86/89. Now enjoying life with my family, and still supporting the troops in training. Also was a CCTT Instructor for the Armor school.19K/19D's. and Officers. Trained over 130,000 soldiers in 11.5 yrs. at all levels.

Hey,Life is good its been along time, i got out at knox in 1991,surprised i never ran into you,i was in 5/12 cav training brig,i did see our master gunner in 1 of our training classes but i cant remember his name,good hearing from you brother. I would like to get back down their sometime i really liked ky., i did work in lousville for awhile till I came back to pa. I got a good job as a road tech. working on forklifts.
