My time in the Delta, 1/11th CAV was the most enjoyable time that I spent in the Army and the young soldiers, they were outstanding. I spent over 30 yrs in the Army and by far, this was my best assignment.

Great to hear from you. The family and I are doing just fine. Hope you and your family are doing good. It was good to see Bob Huggins has joined CavLand. It would be nice if we could get more former Troopers that were there at the same time we were to join. I just got back from China was there for a week work related. It is a pleasure to look at the pictures that we post. It brings back great memories. I was 18 when I was stationed at Fulda now 54 it seems like yesterday. Boy time sure passes by fast.
sgt smith. thank you for making me step up and be somebody. some of the best training in my life. you were allways there for us. sometimes we don't know what is good for us till its over. I really hope you are doing well.
Sgt Smith it is great to hear from you. I must say you are correct. Those were good days I will never forget the men I served with or the memoiries of the time spent in Fulda & D Co. I look back now and wish I would of stay in and retired. I know my dad would of wanted that since he retired as a 1st SGT. But I have been very lucky in my life. I have gone pass Ft. Knox a few times on my way to FL. to see my brother. When ever I do it brings back the memories of working those M60A1's. I have stayed in touch with Randy Garton since Fulda and now it is great to get back in touch with Bell & yourself. maybe one day we can get more of the old D Co. to join Cavland.
