Greg, my name is William {Bill} Owens Served with the 11th Cav From Nov,1964-to I believe May or June 1964 until it was reassigned back to the States. We lived in an old German Luftwaffe barracks in Straubing. We pulled border duty and I believed did one Graf Tour before those of us with little rank were reassigned to the 3rd ACR in K-Town where I attained the rank of E-5 and stayed there until my enlisted ended in June 1966.I am sorry I missed all the action form 10/ far what I have read on the site I hope I am not the oldest Blackhorse Trooper still alive-God Bless All.
