Hello Gary,

Bill Mulkins here, glad that you are doing well up Bozeman, MT, pretty far from Fulda.......

I enjoyed working with you when you were the CAS S-3 @ SAAF under Budda.... I still have my Stetson from when you ordered a large batch from the factory for the Squadron. I have worn it in every Cav unit I have served in and it went to Desert Storm. I still have it and still ware it on special occasions, so Thank you again for your order.

I was the CAS S-4 and then commanded E-Troop when you were the S-3 and then you went to the Regt. HQ's after that and me too. I spent 9 great years in Germany out of 22 in the Army and Fulda is still my favorite duty station, bar none.

I am semi-retired and living in Killeen, TX near Ft. Hood.

My wife and I are planning on attending the OP Alpha Reunion in Bad Hersfeld/Fulda next April 24th, 2015? Can you and your family make it? I would enjoy seeing you!

I still have many German friends in Fulda who I visit yearly. Most worked for the Regiment until it closed in 93.

Any other members of the CAS attending that you know about? Check the Blackhorse web site on more information on the event, Dave Cowan, is the person heading up the planning on this event.

We have a lot of catching up to do and reminiscing.
